Your right of withdrawal
When purchasing products from our online shop, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery, without needing to provide any reason and without incurring any penalties, in accordance with European regulations and the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005).
The withdrawal period begins on the day you, or a person designated by you—other than the carrier—acquire physical possession of the products. In the case of separate deliveries for multiple items purchased in a single order, the period begins upon receipt of the final product.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, simply inform us of your decision within the specified timeframe.
How to request a withdrawal
To simplify the process, we have provided an online form for withdrawal requests, available below.
Fill in the required fields, providing the order details and the products for which you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal.
Once you have submitted your request, you will receive an automated email confirmation acknowledging its receipt. The request will then be handled in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
You may also exercise your right of withdrawal by means of another explicit statement, sent to the contact details provided in our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Product returns and refunds
In the event of a withdrawal, you must return the products within 14 days of the date on which you notified us of your decision, following the return instructions.
The products must be carefully packed to avoid damage during transport.
The refund will be issued within 14 days of the notice of withdrawal and will include, to the extent provided by law, the payments received and the costs of standard delivery. We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned products or until you have provided proof that you have sent them back, whichever occurs first.
The direct costs of returning the items are to be borne by the customer, provided that this condition was communicated prior to the purchase.
Products excluded from the right of withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases expressly provided for by current legislation.
These may include, for example, products customized at the customer’s request, goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, and sealed products that, for reasons of hygiene or health protection, are not suitable for return once the seal has been broken.
The exclusions are applied exclusively when the conditions established by law apply.
Winery visits and tastings
Guided tours, tastings, and other experiences at Podere Bucine in Chianti offer an opportunity to discover our local area, our wines, and our estate.
Experiences booked for a specific date or period are not subject to the standard 14-day right of withdrawal, as they fall under the category of services related to leisure activities, as provided for by Article 59, paragraph 1, letter n), of the Consumer Code.
For these bookings, any requests to change the date, cancel, or obtain a refund are governed by the terms set out in our Terms and Conditions of Sale, without prejudice to any mandatory rights granted by law.
The withdrawal form provided on this page is therefore intended for purchases to which the right of withdrawal applies; it does not serve as a means to automatically cancel bookings for visits and tastings.
